Postpartum Depression, Perinatal Grief & Loss

 

We are always available to provide emotional support to you and your family. For those who are experiencing a prenatal or postpartum mood disorder (such as depression or anxiety) or perinatal grief and loss, there are many resources in the Seattle area that can help.

Perinatal Support Washinton - Local resource for folks experiencing mood disorders, anxiety and depression:
- Local support groups-therapists with extensive training in PMADS. 
- Warm line staffed by professionals and peers who have recover from postpartum mood disorders

 

Postpartum Support International - PSI offers a toll-free support line for new parents who may be experiencing a postpartum mood disorder. Their website also lists support groups throughout the area, as well as local professionals specializing in postpartum mood disorders.

 

Leslie Butterfield - Dr. Butterfield is a clinical psychologist who specializes in women’s health and perinatal mood disorders.

Mia Edidin - Mia is a Clinical Social Worker specializing in new family support.
